About me and my Artwork
' I love to travel with my family around Scotland (if possible with my son Bodhi) and try to capture the mood and atmosphere she creates at any given turn. A bonus is I get to share my paintings of the beautiful landscape of our beloved Scotland around the World ❣️ '
I specialise in original landscape paintings of Scotland and further afield.
My artwork is available in many Scottish outlets, including the official Historic Scotland gift shops in Edinburgh, Stirling and Urquhart Castle. Also available in Eilean Donan Castle, The Whisky Castle, Edinburgh Airport, The Ballachulish Visitors Centre, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Castle Stalker, The Auchrannie Hotel amongst many Scottish independent outlets.
I have exhibited in many Scottish, London and Toronto art galleries and now I am sending my Scottish art worldwide with fast and affordable prices.
“I was born and raised in the shipbuilding town of Greenock and I have been painting since the age of 10. Having studied Interior Design in Glasgow for 4 years, my background hopefully adds an interesting dimension to the artworks. I achieved national design awards during my studies and after graduating worked in the field of film & theatre set design, a picture framer and an art gallery manager. Eventually, I found myself interested solely in painting. The contemporary artworks vary from representational to atmospheric impressionistic (sometimes abstract) paintings and prints depicting Scotland’s landscapes and beyond. Do you want to try any artwork before you decide?
Having studied Interior Design for 4 years before becoming a full-time artist I know how important it is to get an idea of the scale and colour of artwork in your room.
Just get in touch with what painting/format you are thinking about, I will simulate it for you.
All I need is a photograph and a measurement of something in the room, but I can explain better over email or phone. It's very straightforward and lets you see the artwork in your setting.

Commission Request Original Landscape Paintings From Scotland
The vast majority of my original paintings are now commissioned paintings.
It's an excellent complaint for me, but I rarely get the time to paint new originals that can be made available for purchase. And any I do have will be available in my Original Paintings Gallery.
The basic process is this.
1. You give me an idea of what you are thinking of commissioning and you can supply me with any photographs you want, they can be as basic as you like, and I will get what I need from them.
2. I send you various sizes and prices with no obligation.
3. If you want to go ahead it's just a case of you deciding what size, give me a date, and also tell me what tones, colours and moods you want. This can come from looking at previous paintings or colours and tones (from anything you like that has what you're looking for).
