When I am checking the colour and quality of my giclee prints for signing I receive proof prints.
Traditionally, an Artist's Proof remained the property of the artist.
In modern times they are sold at the same time as open edition prints.
All my Artist's Proofs are signed, titled, dated and have the mark A/P.
There is only 1 Artist's Proof for any of my paintings.

Square ▢ proof print dimensions are 20x20 inches (50x50 cm).
Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper (310gsm) - A premium fine art paper with a velvety surface perfect for archival quality reproductions.
A heavy-duty artist's paper with a slightly more textured finish than standard prints.
The matte surface is optimised for high-contrast prints and is perfect for proof printing - this paper also has a warm white hue providing a perfect surface for reproducing paintings.
